Anke Schwarzwälder formed BLACKFORESTERS in 2003 with the objective of supporting national and international clients in developing unique and successful visitor attractions.
As managing director of ZDF Medienpark Projektentwicklung from 1999 to 2003 Anke was responsible for concept, planning and the legal and economic structuring of a privately financed theme park for ZDF, Germany's largest broadcasting station. Attractions were based on popular and long running ZDF program-brands like "Heute" (daily news program), "ZDF Sportstudio" or "Löwenzahn", a science series for children, as well as a themed hotel in the style of a cruise ship. Prior to BLACKFORESTERS Anke was project manager with Cxx Edutainment, a company of the Cinemaxx Group, Hamburg, where she was responsible for developing concepts as well as the legal structuring and realization of visitor attractions.
