His responsibilities included rides & attractions, guest services and the facility management as well as show and live entertainment where as part of his departmental restructuring he was able to realize both a reduction in costs and an improvement in efficiency and quality. Within his remit was also the demanding management of the license products/Intellectual Property Rights of the Looney Tunes™, Batman™, Superman™ and Flintstones™ characters in adherence to strict license agreements. In addition to show productions in Bottrop Andy also assisted in the creation and set up of live entertainment productions for the Six Flags European Division in Holland and Belgium.
The first professional post for Andy was at Alton Towers Theme Park, part of the Tussaud Group and one of the UK's most famous leisure attractions with around 2 million visitors
