Graduating with a degree in Engineering science, Tony Sefton began his career specialising in structural dynamics and design. Tony's next move was to set up a new research and development company, Vision (V.A.D.) Ltd to explore the possibility of numerically defining human experience for all kinds of visitor attractions. It quickly became apparent that the need for a scientific model to help improve visitor attractions or ensure that capital spent on new projects was being directed sensibly was very much needed.
The model was re-branded and called X-Mod (eXperience Model) and has now being used for over 50 applications including new schemes of up to 100 million euro and several national collections. By the end of 2005 X-Mod will be operational in 12 countries. The model is equally applicable to FEC's, Museums, Zoos, Science Centres, Visitor Attractions and Theme Parks.
